Established in 2023, 717 Capital was founded due to Operation Chokepoint 2.0 and the regulatory pressure to debank crypto companies. After the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, and forced shutdown of Signature & Silvergate bank, many major crypto companies lost access to USD banking rails.

Insert 717. With compliance, settlement, & banking expertise, the team quickly established bank partnerships and payment rails when the industry was struggling. As a result, we established partnerships with exchanges & OTC desks to aggregate user deposits/withdrawals. We also work with hedge funds, crypto miners, other Web3 firms, and high-net worth individuals.

Since then, we are proud to have expanded into wholesale borrow/lend markets, on-chain yield optimization, compliance services, and more.

717ai is the next step in solidifying our business as we are well equipped to onboard the influx of traditional brokers, investment advisors, and other firms that will step in with the new crypto-friendly Trump administration.

Meet The Team

Ryan (Founder) - With a background in Economics, Ryan is a career banker and successful entrepreneur. Since working for S&P 500 institutions, middle-market firms, and smaller Trust companies, Ryan has established long-lasting relationships with some of the largest crypto companies in the world.

Most notably, Ryan has built payment systems which achieved over 1 billion USD in daily volume, and later went on to be acquired by the Federal Reserve. He was also one of the first bankers to establish BTC-collateralized term loan and line of credit products to receive regulatory approval, booking $100m+.
